Matt has a Masters Degree in counseling from USF and is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. He has over twenty years experience working with parents and children in the Pasco County Schools and as a private practitioner. He was named Counselor of the Year in Pasco County in 2004.
He believes that we all have the power to make choices that will improve our lives immediately. He encourages clients to focus on their own behavior and teaches valuable skills which may be utilized by clients as soon as they leave his office. Matt professes a cooperative approach to marriage, parenting and any situation that involving two human beings attempting to work out a problem. Most importantly, he practices this very approach with his own family…Katie, Justin, Ayden, and Teigan.
